Installing a pull out kitchen faucet is an easy do it yourself project. Although for some of the steps below, you will want to have the assistance of an additional person. You will need the following list of materials and tools to complete this project: the new pull out kitchen faucet, plumber’s tape (also known as teflon tape) a basin wrench, an adjustable wrench, a screwdriver, a measuring tape, and caulking. The first thing you will want to do is turn off the hot and cold water valves under the sink. Next, turn on the faucet to ensure that the water connection has been turned off. If water still runs out of the faucet, then you will need to turn off your main water valve. Place a small bucket under the valves. Next, you should loosen up the nuts that connect the valves to the water supply line. Use the adjustable wrench for this task.
